Coordination and flow with the Alexander Technique!

We prepare for class by calming and unwinding our minds and bodies in order to make way make for a new sense of balance, power and freedom.

Class starts by lying on the floor and following guided imagery scientifically designed to bring about energy flow and healthy body mechanics.  We perform simple, natural movements that wake up the body with gentle stretching, strengthening and coordination exercises.  As we work, we allow these simple explorations to morph into larger, more exploratory movements. At the end, we will find ourselves dancing!
